What hosting solutions do you use?

A trustworthy hosting solution is worth the peace of mind that it brings. There are numerous hosting solutions available on the market, and while the needs of every project are slightly different, we have many options to recommend—and others to avoid.
Hosting solutions we prefer
Amazon Web Services
We offer managed hosting on the AWS infrastructure (such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and others).
Vercel
We often use Vercel to host Sanity websites because of its advanced developer tools and cloud infrastructure.
Pantheon
Pantheon is a third-party managed hosting provider that we have had positive experiences with.
WP Engine
WP Engine is among the most poplural managed hosting solutions for WordPress websites. We have seen many clients have success with WP Engine, and we continue to recommended it is a valuable solution.
Webflow Hosting
Webflow is a self-hosted solution, meaning websites built using Webflow are hosted by them as well. We have had good experiences with our projects that are hosted on Webflow.
Honorable mentions
While they might not be our go-to choices, there are plenty of hosting solutions that we are happy to accommodate for upon request, including:
Hosting solutions we avoid
We helped many customers navigate bad experiences with hosting environments and have a list of some that we recommend avoiding:
- GoDaddy— we have very few good experiences with GoDaddy hosting
- Bluehost
- HostGator
- Namecheap
- DreamHost
- Similar commodity hosting platforms
Ultimately, the best hosting solution is one you don’t have to think about very often. Every website has different needs, so if you are trying to find a managed hosting solution you can trust and doesn't cost a fortune, ask to speak with our technology team. They will give you their honest opinion about what hosting solution to choose.
