It’s never easy to open a new school, and it's particularly difficult to develop a new brand that represents the philosophy, values, and standards that the institution promotes.
Classical’s mission is the development of minds and nourishment of hearts through a content-rich curriculum in the classical liberal arts and sciences, with instruction in moral character and civic virtue. We kept this in mind as we went through the strategy, discovery, and design of the brand. A classic brand for a classical education.
And of course, once the brand came to life, the USDP team worked closely with Classical to craft the messaging and website to help launch the new school. Since the beginning, Classical has hit its enrollment targets with extensive waiting lists for all grades. Students and families are thriving in this new spin on a public school.

Behind The Brand
A classical school needed a classical brand. It's no accident that the brand feels more like a prep school than a public school. The handsome colors, the golden eagle, and the uniforms all represent an intentional desire to offer something different in Cincinnati. Classical is proposing an educational formula that worked well for hundreds of years, with a modern application.
