Our client, LumaBridge, is a cutting-edge CRO, advancing new immunotherapies in the fight against cancer. Founded by a pioneer in immuno-oncology, Dr. George Peoples, LumaBridge focuses on guiding emerging biopharma and biotech companies through complex regulatory and clinical pathways.
When LumaBridge came to USDP, they were still known to the public as CancerInsight. But with a name, new brand, and substantial growth, they needed a flexible new website that could grow with them. Equally important: they needed a site that could clearly convey their inspiring work of bringing life-changing therapies to patients.
USDP was asked to design and build a new LumaBridge website, as well as write new company messaging and website content.
- Our content strategist leveraged the StoryBrand approach to craft core LumaBridge messaging, and then write the website copy to align with it. We intentionally left out the jargon that too often plagues healthcare sites, and opted for clear, expressive language instead.
- Our designer used the bright new logo (created by a fellow agency) as a starting point to create a light and airy website that is professional, welcoming, confidence-inspiring, and calm. Deep blue is a core color in their brand palette, but can be over-used in healthcare websites. So, we decided to use the bluish-purple tones as accent colors and favor whites to keep the site vibrant and hopeful.
- The site was built by an in-house developer on WordPress, leveraging a page builder plugin called Elementor, which includes a large library of content elements that enable you to customize unique, high-quality websites.
Now LumaBridge has a fresh website that makes it easy to understand what LumaBridge does and how emerging biopharma companies can benefit from working with them. The brand voice is clear, confident, and professional, yet still approachable. The website can be maintained easily by LumaBridge employees, which enables them to keep their budget focused on life-changing work.
