Interior Designer Turned Web Developer – Lew Krehnbrink
Last Updated on January 2, 2019
We’d like to formally welcome Lew Krehnbrink to US Digital Partners. He just kept coming around so we decided to make it official.
What’s your background?
I have a BS of Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati. Since graduation I have:
-Spent some time doing freelance furniture design
-Remodeled houses
-Had a brief stint with a small marketing agency
-Had a gig with a small web design and branding company here in Cincy
-Worked as the lead designer with another startup
-Done my own startup
What is your primary role at US Digital Partners?
Currently, I act exclusively as a web developer.
Why did you want to work at US Digital Partners?
I was initially intrigued by the size and niche. USDP is both small enough to play in the hyper-creative startup realm while still being able to execute the larger corporate projects of the Cincinnati market. Beyond that, the people that make up the company are some of the most talented and knowledgeable that I’ve encountered, the type of people you’re lucky to surround yourself with.
What do you think about your job so far?
I grow and learn more every day. The employees are treated like family. The workday is fun and intriguing. The projects are exciting and the clients are fantastic. Can’t really ask for much more.
What do you think about the people you are working with so far?
They are fantastic. Except for Michael.
Do you have any particular goals for your work at USDP?
I’d like to expand my role to the design side of our process. Maybe ownership? Probably too soon for that.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy writing music, painting, spending quality time with friends and family, playing with my dogs, excessively competitive canjam, cloud 9 sushi, and Bill Withers.
