Say hello to Paul Padgett.
Whats your background?
My academic background is in Physics and Engineering. Creatively, I’ve spent the last few years producing films for the Army National Guard, the Marines Special Operations and the US Chamber of Commerce. I’ve been in bomb suits, body armor and boats all over the country, finding and telling the stories of some incredible clients.
What is your primary role at US Digital Partners?
My primary role will be in managing film production for USDP.
Why did you want to work at US Digital Partners?
I wanted to work at USDP because of the people and the culture. They make compelling web content, and they seem to have a fun time doing it.
What do you think about your job so far?
First day is going pretty well!
What do you think about the people you are working with so far?
Everyone seems incredibly helpful and dedicated to creating work they are proud of.
Do you have any particular goals for your work at USDP?
My goals at USDP are to find ways to incorporate video into the web strategy for all of USDP’s clients. Video is a compelling way to tell a brand story and communicate with an audience whose attention span is constantly being pulled in other directions. I want to help make content that complements great web design.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Lately, my free time is mainly spent in remodeling an 80 year old house. Being from Music City, I dabble in songwriting and music recording.
