Meet Vince Evans – Our New Web Developer

Vince Evans - Web DeveloperWhat’s your background?

I grew up in Dayton, Ohio, home of the Flyers, and then moved to Cincinnati to play basketball for the College of Mount Saint Joseph.  I graduated from The Mount in December of 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems.

What is your primary role at US Digital Partners?

My primary role at USDP is web development. I take designs and turn them into a functional website, build email newsletters, work on custom applications, and more. I hope to be doing all kinds of new things soon.

Why did you want to work at US Digital Partners?

I have always been creative and interested in computers, specifically web development.   At USDP, I am able to use my creative talents in building a company’s vision for its website.  I knew I wanted to work at USDP after my first interview.  I got a great vibe from the co-workers and knew USDP would be a great fit for me.

What do you think about your job so far?

I look forward to coming to work every day. Some projects can be challenging, but that’s what I like the most. The challenge forces me to think and search for solutions to get the job done.

What do you think about the people you are working with so far?

All of the employees at USDP have been great!  Everyone is very helpful and willing to put their work on hold to lend me a hand. I love the family and team atmosphere within the company.

Do you have any particular goals for your work at USDP?

I want to come into USDP and be an employee who contributes a lot to the company. Everyone you meet knows something that you don’t.  I look forward to learning new things every day.  I want to further enhance my web developer knowledge, as well as learn different aspects of the company (e.g., branding, design, video).

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I love going to Reds games, traveling, listening to music or podcasts, discovering new places to eat, working out, and taking my 3-month old Australian Shepherd, Tucker, to the park.
