Meet Our New Web Developer John Mollman

John Mollman is the latest web developer to join the USDP team. His technical skills have already come in handy for our clients and us!

What’s your background?

I grew up in Colerain and have been living on the west side of Cincinnati my entire life. In 2012, I graduated from Cincinnati State with an associate’s degree in Business Information Systems. I have been working full-time in the field for several years. I am also working on completing my bachelor’s degree part-time in Information Technology (Software Development) at the University of Cincinnati. I’ve had an interest in computers since a young age, mostly hardware, but started to pursue website development as a career path after high school.

What is your primary role at US Digital Partners?

At USDP, I am a web developer. I’ll be turning designs made by our design team into functioning websites for clients.
Why did you want to work at US Digital Partners?

I wanted to work for US Digital partners because I felt it was the right fit based on what I want to focus on in my career. I also know a coworker, and from talking with him, the team dynamics, culture, and types of projects sounded like it would be a great fit for me. With my interest in building websites, I hope I can provide valuable resources to the company and team.

What do you think about your job so far?

So far, I love my job. I’ve only been here about two weeks and already feel like a part of the team. I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects and provide value to the company, and it feels great.

What do you think about the people you are working with so far?

The people are great. It’s a small team, and I felt part of it since day one. Everyone is friendly, they get along great with each other, and it feels like a small, close-knit family working together with passion. Most of my team members are around my age as well, and I’ve made a lot of friends already!

Do you have any particular goals for your work at USDP?

My goals at USDP are to contribute to this company’s success by building the best websites for clients. I also hope to improve my technical skills as well as my soft-skills while working here. With the knowledge and experience I gain, I hope I can give back to the company.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I like to learn about a variety of topics — computers, programming, science, history, mysteries. I also like to go on walks or bike rides with friends on trails from time-to-time. I’ve also recently gotten back into art as a hobby. I was decent in my younger years, but I’ve found it’s a skill I would like to grow further, specifically with traditional hand-drawn illustrations and pixel art.
