Keep on Truckin’

Breaker 1-9. Breaker 1-9. We got ourselves a new website.
Anyone else hearing CW McCalls famous song or picturing Burt Reynolds in a TransAm, being chased by Jackie Gleason as Sheriff Buford T. Justice?
Well, someone just reminded me that was about 30 years ago, so perhaps we should fast-forward to 2012. Today, trucks are complex machines that tell their drivers or fleet managers when there is a problem, hopefully, before they break down on the side of the road. Preventative maintenance helps keep valuable loads moving towards the marketplace in record time. Believe it or not, truckers are some of the most tech-savvy users out there by staying connected on the road with laptops, iPads, and smartphones.
To better serve their customers, forward-thinking repair facilities have also embraced technology. Clarke Power Service, with 27 locations throughout the United States, enlisted US Digital Partners to create a great looking, easy-to-use, mobile-friendly website. In fact, this is the second website weve built for Clarke Power, and the fifth for the Clarke Family of Companies. The sites layout and navigation model dynamically adapts to the users screen size, making it a breeze to find the nearest service location based their current geolocation.
Clarke is more than just a repair facility: they also offer fleet management, training, preventative maintenance, parts, on-site service, and much more. The new website will promote these value-added services with the goal of growing the business and setting Clarke above the standard repair shop. In the long term, Clarke hopes to add an e-commerce site and more mobile features.
So take a few minutes, pull off the road (or just take a break at your desk), and take a test drive of Clarke Powers new website.
