US Digital Partners Launches New Website for Chase Doors, the Largest Manufacturer of Traffic Doors

CINCINNATI— July 2005—US Digital Partners has announced the launch of a new website for Cincinnati-based Chase Doors, a leading manufacturer of traffic doors for a variety of industries including supermarkets, retailers, restaurants, institutions and manufacturers.

The new site, www.chasedoors.com, provides engineers, architects and other potential and current customers with an easy-to-use, one-stop resource for information on the types of traffic doors the company manufactures and specific data requirements for the different markets the company serves.

"This company is a solution provider," said Mark Miller, a partner with US Digital. "With this site, they really wanted to emphasize the solution aspects of what they do for their customers, which is a strength that really differentiates them from their competition."

To that end, the new site features a section on Traffic Door Basics that endeavors to educate potential customers about what types of doors are available as well as to provide additional primers on door basics such as panels, hinges, and measuring door openings. A Capabilities section provides details on the company’s manufacturing and technology advantages, while a Library area serves as a data repository where existing customers can find technical data such as user manuals, product data sheets and technical specifications.

"Putting all of that printed literature in electronic form will allow Chase to replace mountains of paper and quickly provide updates to product information as needed," Miller explained.

Additionally, an enhanced Product Search feature helps new users to narrow their choices by entering criteria such as their market application and environmental considerations. The site then delivers a list of potential products that meet those specifications, and the customer can review individual product information for each specific door.

"We weren’t interested in a long-loading, fancy Flash front end or lots of window dressing for this site," noted Rory Falato, vice-president of marketing for Chase Doors. "We wanted a hard-working site for our customers that would be easy for us to maintain. Our focus was on content—the availability and simplicity of finding the information a customer needs to buy or successfully use any or our products."

"The folks at US Digital Partners provided the database platform and guidance to let us realize our goals," Falato said. "It was a real team effort."
