College of Mount St. Joseph targets website customization for a variety of audiences

March 2008—Cincinnati—When US Digital Partners and the College of Mount St. Joseph teamed up in May of 2007, the goal was to create an exciting college website with a fresh new look and the ability to customize content for the site’s many users. That goal and more has certainly been accomplished for this web development project.

The College of Mount St. Joseph, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, provides its 2,300 students with a liberal arts and professional education. The Mount’s academic programs encourage students to excel, challenge students intellectually, and provide students with real-life experiences. In addition to their academic programs, the Mount’s athletic programs, cooperative education, service learning, and student clubs/activities enhance the college experience.

To recreate the Mount’s website, US Digital Partners researched extensively and interviewed key audiences to determine the best way to customize the site for a variety of audiences. In this site, which is thousands of pages, US Digital built many interactive features such as Google customized search, videos, blogs, calendars, and athletic schedules. Phase Two is already underway with more functionality rolling out throughout 2008.

According to Cliff Jenkins, Interactive Media Manager for the college, one of the goals the Mount was looking to accomplish was to improve the navigation of the site while also adding dynamic content and interactivity. “US Digital Partners is very function oriented. They have exceeded our expectations in achieving our goals.”

Kathleen Lundrigan, Director of Marketing for the Mount, is very pleased with the relationship they’ve developed with the web development team at US Digital. “We enjoyed working with US Digital Partners. They provided solid project management, technical know-how, and a very strong creative team.” Cliff Jenkins agrees. “We developed a really good working relationship. As two different organizations, we meshed as one brain for this project, really being able to think alike.”
